Hi I'm Lynda, women's health coach and nutritional therapist.
These days I may seem to be brimming with energy and vitality, but that wasn't always the case.
I grew up absolutely loving food. My grandad was a market gardener and there was nothing I loved more than visiting him and going into the vegetable tunnels to pick all the veg to eat that night. I ate everything and anything and the thought of a calorie never even crossed my mind.
That was until I left home for university at 18 where I developed crippling depression, anxiety and anorexia nervosa. My weight plummeted to 44kg. At 5’8” I was far from the picture of health. I lost my menstrual cycle, struggled with terrible insomnia and felt I had nothing to live for...
So began my long and painful journey with mental and physical health challenges.
A spontaneous trip to Australia around 5 years into my struggles was the start of my recovery. Escaping from my lost life back home allowed me to rediscover myself and I began to relax into enjoying food for the first time in a long time. I returned home a healthier and happier person, but I replaced over exercising and under eating with over exercising and over working. I was up at 4.45am, grabbing a coffee and completing a 10km run before a quick shower, a 1 hour commute to work and a non-stop day until I would crawl through the door at 8 or 9pm, tired but wired. Sadly a common pattern for so many women who want to 'have it all' these days...
I always felt cold, yet had terrible night sweats. I struggled with hair loss and breakouts. I was constipated and periods were a thing I rejoiced over not needing to worry about because they never came. I had to wear sunglasses when I drove at night because I found car lights blinding... My adrenals, mind and body were all exhausted.
Turning 36 I had a wake-up call. I’d been punishing my body for 18 years and I knew I needed to make some changes if I wanted to get healthy again.
I feel so blessed to have made the decision to change. Less than 12 months later I had balanced my hormones, regained my menstrual cycle and fallen pregnant with my gorgeous son. I have never been happier.
Turning your health around really is possible.
Today we live with many ‘common’ conditions.
Painful periods, losing your menstrual cycle, bloating, diarrhoea or constipation have all become our 'normal' but they shouldn't be. We shouldn't need a coffee to get us going in the morning and we shouldn't be exhausted by 3pm.

Food is fuel but it’s also absolutely blummin delicious so I’m here to empower you to make healthier food choices that not only taste delicious, but will also nourish your body, mind and soul, leaving you brimming with energy, confidence and happiness. Your stomach, skin, hormones and mood will all be having a little dance party in celebration!
